ADALET Wireless systems offer various means to power the wireless transmitters and receivers, repeaters, and modems. DIN rail mount transmitters, receivers, and repeaters are powered by 12 to 32 VDC and a DC power supply is required to act as a transformer for those applications which only provide 115VAC.

The DIN rail mount, rugged NEMA 4X, and Division 1 transmitters can be ordered as a battery powered version which comes housed in a Division 1 instrument enclosure for hazardous or rugged applications or in an Adalet NEMA 4X fiberglass enclosure with four ‘D’ cell lithium batteries.

Battery life can be determined by calculating the power output and update interval. Batteries can last up to five years under optimal conditions. A solar power option is also available for those truly remote applications which do not allow for the changing of batteries. The solar power option comes equipped with a solar cell, rechargeable battery and steel enclosure which houses all components.
